In the eye of a Storm
I was looking through this book from one of the best christian authors around and he related a journey that all of us would be familiar with. When we are faced with storms in our lives, how are we dealing with it?
This was a small part of what it had to say:
"For some of you, the journey has been long. Very long and stormy. In no way do I wish to minimize the difficulties you have to face along the way. Some of you have shouldered burdens which few of us could have ever carry. You have bid farewell to life long partners. You have been robbed of life long dreams. You have been given bodies that can't sustain your spirit. You have spouses who can't tolerate your faith. You have bills that outnumbered your paychecks and challenges that outweigh the strength. "
And this is what really encourages me as it goes on to say:
"It is worth it."
"Yesterday's challenges were lost in today's joy."
"Even Paul never said that the journey would be easy but the arrival to the end of it would be worthwhile."
So remember this:
"God may not do what you want, but He will do what is right...... and best. He is the Father of forward motion. Trust Him and He will get you home. And the trials of the trips will be lost in the joys of the feast. "

A man, whose level of drunkenness was bordering on the absurd, stood up to leave a bar and fell flat on his face.
"Maybe all I need is some fresh air," thought the man as he crawled outside.
He tried to stand up again, but fell face first into the mud.
"Screw it," he thought. "I'll just crawl home."
The next morning, his wife found him on the doorstep asleep.
"You went out drinking last night, didn't you?" she said.
"Uh, yes," he said sheepishly.
"How did you know?"
"You left your wheelchair at the bar again."

Victors in Christ :D
"for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God." I decided to start a AVJ tribe blog and named it "Victors In CHrist" because everyone of us have come to be a part of Christ having received of the victory we have over death and sin. WIth our trust and belief in our Lord Jesus Christ, we received the anointing and the power to overcome all the circumstances in our lives, that we may conquer and truly say that we are God's risen ones. So let's continue to be victorious in Christ Jesus, just as my baptism name signifies, we are all victors of Christ because we are all Jedidiahs, loved ones of God. (",)
